Turkish Get-Ups make me want to throw up!


WOW! I was contemplating not going tonight since I was soooooo sore from my 3 other workouts this week and yoga, BUT I did it. This workout included broad jumps, pull ups, high knees through the ladder, jogs, spiderman plank and an exercise I had never done before called a Turkish Get-Up. Since I didn't know what it was I watched a video and it was confirmed it was something that I was going to love hate.

Yeah, so pretty much super awkward. Honestly, awkwardness seems to be a trend when it comes to lifting. It's like, "How ridiculous can we make people look while torturing them?" The answer to that question is very, very awkward. Anyways, it was SO hard. It just wasn't clicking in my brain and I kept epically failing at them. The first 3 times I was a disaster and getting so frustrated. I wanted to just be given another exercise since I was doing so bad. I gave it a try the 4th time and FINALLY my brain decided to work and I did it just fine. THANK GOD! So, I basically almost passed out by the end of the workout and wanted to puke. But, I didn't and I'm fine and happy that I went- typical D! :-) Oh, and this was day 4 of the eating plan. No cheating! Today was so much easier than yesterday and I'm feeling good. Day 4: D $1. One day at a time....#progress!
