Dirty thirty, you filthy bastard!

Ahhhh, so it was time for one of the signature workouts. This little delight is known as 'Dirty Thirty' and consists of AMRAP of 10 push-ups, 10 sits ups and 10 body weight squats in 20 minutes. 20 minutes NEVER sounds like a long time until you're pushing your body to the max and then it feels like an hour. I have no idea how many rounds I accomplished last time since I failed to write it down, but my goal this time was to keep up with my gym friend who I feel is better then me just enough to push me to my max. Mission accomplished! I could barely breathe and was pretty sure with one more push up I was going to face plant, but I finished and ended up with 17.33 rounds. That's 180 push-ups (that is where the .33 came in) 170 sit-ups and 170 squats. Pretty happy with those results. I don't think at this time I could have done much more, but I'm confident that next time I will improve to 18-19 rounds. That will be my goal! A little worried about the rest of this week since it's only Tuesday and my body is pretty wrecked, but I'll get after it! Did a great job again on my eating plan. Working hard to get results!
